Assistant or Associate Professor of Periodontics
The Department of Periodontics, University of Pennsylvania, School of Dental Medicine invites applications for a full-time, clinician educator track position available at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor level.
The position calls for a person whom, through excellence in teaching, Periodontics and research, are able to build and maintain the department's reputation nationally and internationally thorough leadership and direction of departmental activities, including: postdoctoral education programs, research and service to the community. Preference will be given to candidates who have previous graduate teaching experience. The successful candidate must have completed a Commission on Dental Accreditation approved Advanced Education program in Periodontics and have a DMD degree and be eligible for a Pennsylvania dental license. The candidate must also be a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. Clinical practice within the University is available.
