The Department of Information Systems and Operations Management Department at University of North Carolina Wilmington invites applications for a nine-month academic position at the rank of Instructor for appointment beginning Fall 2012. The selected person will teach four introductory and upper-level courses per semester in the Department of Information Systems and Operations Management. Additional responsibilities will include advising students.

The Lecturer is a full-time, non-tenure track position. Candidates must possess a graduate degree in information systems or a combination of information systems and computer science. Key skill areas include information systems, development of business applications using the Microsoft.Net platform (Visual Basic), web development especially XHTML, CSS, Javascript, and .Net back office processing and Microsoft SQL development. Previous teaching experience at the university level and work experience in this area are required. Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and professional interaction skills are essential.
