The Director of Organizational Development represents the Swain Center of the Cameron School of Business. The Swain Center provides consultancy, education, and organizational development to local, national, and international businesses. The primary purpose of the position is to develop and market programs to promote the university's expertise and resources to create and disseminate business knowledge through direct instruction, research, and public service. These programs address community and regional issues and incorporate the community needs with the university's academic and research programs, keeping with the goals and objectives of the Swain Center.
This position will provide consultation services to assist with identifying and meeting the corporation's organizational development and professional development training needs. The position will help organizations build high-performing work teams through educational programs and consulting activities, and work with faculty to develop curriculum for training and development offerings to meet these corporate needs. Other responsibilities include engaging and coordinating faculty and other subject matter experts to deliver the program offerings.
Qualifications: Minimum qualifications include a master's degree in business administration, economics, organizational effectiveness, training and development or similar field. The successful candidate will have five or more years of full-time work related experience in a mid- to large-sized corporation with demonstrated progressive advancement. Preferred qualifications include fluency in a second language.
