Position Summary:
The University of North Carolina School of Dentistry in conjunction with the Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center invites applications for a full-time open rank research or tenure track position in the School of Dentistry with membership in the Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center. We are seeking an outstanding scientist conducting research in oral cancer biology, cellular signaling in cancer or the molecular mechanisms of cancer that will complement and enhance our existing programs, including but not limited to genetics, host pathogen interactions, immunology, inflammation, and tissue engineering. The successful applicant will be provided with a highly competitive package of laboratory space, start-up funding, and salary.
Appointment type and rank in a School of Dentistry department will be determined by the applicant’s qualifications.
Education Requirements:
Doctoral Degree in Dental Surgery (DDS), Dental Medicine (DMD), Medicine (MD), Research (PhD) or other directly-related field.
Qualification and Experience:
Postdoctoral research experience in related field.
