Position Summary: The Department of Psychology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill invites applications for a full-time fixed-term Lecturer with a three-year (7/1/2013-6/30/2016) contract that is renewable. Lecturers in the department typically teach three courses per semester for a total of six courses each academic year. We are seeking an instructor with demonstrated excellence in undergraduate instruction who has a broad neuroscience background and will be comfortable teaching across sub-areas of the discipline. We are particularly interested in individuals who are qualified to teach undergraduate courses such as the molecular basis of behavior, biopsychology, and cognitive neuroscience. Education Requirements: Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Psychology or Neuroscience.
