Position Summary:

The Executive Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations is responsible for managing the Kenan-Flagler Business School’s corporate and foundation engagement programs and will have considerable contact with corporate and foundation executives and managers as well as the Dean of the Business School, senior staff members, faculty and other colleagues in the Business School and the University. The Executive Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations reports to the Associate Dean for Advancement.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree required. MBA or other graduate degree highly preferred.

Qualification and Experience:

The successful candidate will have five or more years of fundraising or equivalent experience and a strong understanding of the nature and purpose of corporate and foundation partnerships with higher education. The successful candidate will also possess exceptional interpersonal skills, strong written and oral communication skills and a demonstrated capability to manage multiple responsibilities. Travel and some evening and weekend work are required. The ideal candidate thrives as a member of a dynamic team and possesses strong diplomacy skills.
