Position Summary:
Provide essential support and information to individuals and families affected by craniofacial birth defects. Design, coordinate and implement service-delivery protocols for CPF’s education, referral, support and crisis line including telephone, on-line web inquiries and e-mail contacts (collectively referenced as CLEFTLINE). Develop CPF family and professional education programs and conferences. Contribute to ongoing development of CPF’s collection of cleft craniofacial and treatment resources.
Education Requirements:
MS in counseling, social work or related discipline; Licensed or eligible for licensure with appropriate state licensing or certifying body.
Qualification and Experience:
Three years general experience in human services field including minimum one year experience with special needs populations and experience with a multidisciplinary team approach to care. Professional writing, exceptional presentation and other communication skills. Evidence of intercultural communication competencies. Experience with working with diverse populations. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to organize and prioritize work assignments; willing and able to travel as needed. Good organizational skills, self-motivated, detail-oriented. Team player; strong interpersonal skills to work with individuals both within and outside the foundation and association, specifically, staff, professional members, vendors, affected individuals and their families
