Position Summary:
The Director of Development is a key member of the advancement team that supports the mission and priorities of the UNC School of Pharmacy and is instrumental in planning and implementing fundraising efforts.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor s degree, 3-5 years fundraising experience, ability to interact effectively on a comprehensive research university campus, Ability to work with volunteers, faculty members and potential donors, foundation and corporate partners, Ability to work as part of a dynamic team, strong written and oral communication skills
Qualification and Experience:
The applicant should have experience in cultivating donors, soliciting and closing gifts of 25,000 and above with preference given to candidates with backgrounds in higher education or health related fields. Candidates with significant, successful sales experience will be considered.
