Position Summary:
CLINICAL INSTRUCTOR. The Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine in the Department of Medicine at UNC-CH has an opening for a Clinical Instructor. Candidate will be uniquely qualified to manage chronic diseases that begin in childhood such as cystic fibrosis and transitions in care from pediatric to adult. Additionally, candidate will be responsible for conducting independent research in the field of cystic fibrosis with the primary focus on testing the pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics of inhaled hypertonic saline and identifying optimal delivery conditions to ultimately translate to clinical improvements in patient care.
Education Requirements:
M.D. degree. Board Certified/Board Eligible in Medicine and Pediatrics as well as Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine.
Qualification and Experience:
Dual adult pulmonology and critical care fellowship training and combined medicine/pediatric residency training.
