Position Summary:

CLINICAL ASSISTANT PROFESSOR. The UNC-Chapel Hill Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, Department of Medicine has an opening for a Clinical Assistant Professor for a fixed-term appointment. The faculty member will be based at Sanford Specialty Clinics and Central Carolina Hospital in Sanford, N.C. Responsibilities will include providing Monday-Friday inpatient pulmonology and critical care support to Central Carolina Hospital, and maintaining two-three half days of clinic per week. Additionally, the candidate will have clinical responsibilities at UNC-Chapel Hill to include ICU inpatient service, and participation in divisional teaching responsibilities e.g. precepting undergraduate and graduate level students. M.D.; BC/BE in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine.

Education Requirements:

M.D. degree. Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine.

Qualification and Experience:

Completed Fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine.
