Position Summary:

Modern Jewish History Since 1800. The History Department at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position. Candidates for the position will be expected to contribute to the interdisciplinary work of the Carolina Center for Jewish Studies

Education Requirements:

Ph.D. preferred

Qualification and Experience:

Candidates for the position should demonstrate strong scholarly promise and a commitment to teaching; and they will be expected to contribute to the interdisciplinary work of the Carolina Center for Jewish Studies and UNC’s Program in Medieval and Early Modern Studies.
