The Instructional Technologist works as a member of the CITS Instructional Development team to support the expansion of blended courses and fully online programs at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. This position works closely with faculty and other members of the Instructional Development team to assist faculty in the development of online course materials, utilizing mobile and other innovative technologies in online, blended and traditional classroom instruction. EDUCATION: Associate’s Degree or post-secondary certification or completion of 60 credits towards Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
EXPERIENCE: Previous experience (1-2 years) with LMSs and collaborative instructional technologies; ability to learn and adapt new technologies.
OTHER: Must be available to respond to situations that arise during the evenings and weekends. Position requires travel to off campus meetings and conferences.

• Two years higher education experience working with instructional technologies and LMS’s.
• Significant experience with web-based course management tools.
• Proven abilities to continually adapt and learn to new technologies.
