Position Summary/Purpose of Position: The Marketing Manager in the Office of Marketing and Communications will develop and implement marketing programs and tactics, including print collateral, paid advertising, direct mail, social and e-communication campaigns to support the Smith School brand and to promote its academic programs. The manager will play an integral role in a team responsible for developing strategic plans and implementing marketing and promotional campaigns for Smith school centers, initiatives and events.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, business, communications or related field.

4-6 years of professional experience showing proven results in marketing, advertising or promotion in an academic, corporate or agency environment. Background in higher education preferred.

Applicants must also have excellent visual and written communications skills. Proven understanding of creative development and production processes; ability to manage multiple projects at once and meet deadlines. Ability to work cross-functionally to manage all aspects of a campaign from inception to launch. Team player, outstanding interpersonal communication skills and self-starter. Proficient in Microsoft Office Word and Excel. Working knowledge of desktop publishing a plus.
