SR CONSTITUENT BASED DIRECTOR
Job Summary The Senior Constituent Based Director serves as a liaison between Franklin College of Arts & Sciences and UGA Central Development. In this role, the employee is responsible for communication, collaboration and coordination between Franklin College of Arts & Sciences and Central Development as well as creating productive partnerships with all other UGA School, College and Unit fundraising programs. This position serves as Franklin College of Arts & Sciences chief development officer (managing the portfolio of the Dean) and is responsible for providing strategy, leadership, direction, coordination, and management of all development, alumni relations, and annual giving efforts for Franklin College of Arts & Sciences enabling the school to fulfill its mission and implement its programs and initiatives. This is accomplished by the Senior Constituent Based Director working closely with the Dean of Franklin College of Arts & Sciences to develop its fundraising priorities, creating a development plan, implementing the plan, and securing major gifts. The Senior Constituent Based Director focuses on six, seven and eight figure gifts, presenting a minimum of 12-15 proposals annually and making 7-10 face-to-face visits and/or moves with donors and prospects monthly. The Senior Constituent Based Director in Franklin College of Arts & Sciences manages the development staff, alumni relations and annual giving. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10 years of development, fundraising or related professional experience.
