LABORATORY MANAGER I

Job Summary Incumbent will serve as manager of the Plant Virology Laboratory in the Department of Plant Pathology at the Tifton Campus. Incumbent must work effectively with scientists in multiple projects relating to plant viruses and their vectors. Minimum Qualifications Bachelors degree and 4 years experience or equivalent combination required. Specialty certification may be required. Masters degree preferred

Area-specific certification (i.e.; SCUBA) and training may be required. Other training will be provided as appropriate (i.e.; UGA HazMat training and/or Radiation Worker).
