Job Description: The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Florida, College of Medicine-Jacksonville, has an opening for an up to full-time position in the Division of Forensic Pediatrics and Child Protection (#000017363). This position will be the Medical Director at the University of Florida's Child Protection Team. Major responsibilities will include directing the day to day clinical operation of the Child Protection Team, clinical care to victims of child abuse and teaching of fellows, residents and medical students. Conducting community trainings on child abuse is also required. The appointment will be at the non-tenure accruing level of Assistant/Associate/ Full Professor and Medical Director. Academic rank will be commensurate with qualifications and salary is negotiable. Minimum Requirements: The successful candidate will have a MD/DO degree and be BC in Pediatrics and BE/BC in Child Abuse. Experience in child protection and forensic pediatrics is required.
