Job Description:
The Department of Psychiatry at the University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville, seeks a full-time faculty member at the tenure or non-tenure accruing level of Assistant/Associate/Full Professor.
This position will report to the Chairman of the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville.
Following is a description of duties and responsibilities:
Provide and maintain a high level of quality level of patient and inpatient consultation services in all aspects of Psychiatry.
Provide clinical teaching of trainees in Psychiatry and participate in the educational program.
Responsible for excellent communication with primary care physicians.
Assist in marketing the Psychiatry Program to community physicians and managed care organizations.
Participate in monthly division meeting, administrative functions and institutional committees as requested.

Minimum Requirements:
Applicants must be Board eligible and/or Board Certified in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
