Job Summary:
The University of Denver Sturm College of Law anticipates hiring one or more visiting faculty members for the 2012-2013 academic year. Appointments can be for either an academic semester or for the entire academic year, depending on curricular fit. We seek applications from both entry-level & experienced candidates with excellent academic records & demonstrated potential for outstanding teaching & scholarly achievement. Our anticipated needs include but are not limited to the following subjects: Commercial & Corporate Law, Immigration, International Business Transactions, Civil Procedure, Intellectual Property, Family Law, Trusts & Estates, International Law, and Lawyering Process.
If the successful applicants do not hold an Associate or Full Professor position at another institution, the position will be titled Lecturer.
Preferred Qualifications:
-Experience teaching in one or more of the above outlined substantive areas.
Minimum Qualifications:
-JD or equivalent.
-Excellent academic records & demonstrated potential for outstanding teaching & scholarly achievement.
