ASSISTANT CLINICAL PROFESSOR - LAW PRACTICE
The University of Connecticut School of Law solicits applications for an assistant clinical professor of law to serve as Director of the Intellectual Property and Entrepreneurship Law Clinic beginning August 1, 2013. The position is subject to the Law School's policy on long-term renewable contracts for clinical faculty, which complies with ABA Standard 405(c).
Minimum Qualifications: An excellent academic record; significant law practice and/or clinical teaching experience; demonstrated research and writing ability; membership in the Patent Bar; and membership in the Connecticut bar or the ability to become a member within one year of hire, are required. The ideal candidate will also have significant intellectual property experience and some transactional business-lawyering experience.
Position is at the Law School campus in Hartford and clinic location in East Hartford. This is a full-time, non-tenured position, renewable yearly. Salary will be commensurate with background, qualifications, and experience.
