Posting Description: General tasks include, but are not limited to: Day-to-day activities related to the implementation of research protocols, including coordinating and attending meetings with project investigators and staff Developing and implementing surveys Coordinating survey administration and key informant interviews Developing and maintaining databases, may include entering, tracking, cleaning and preparing data for analyses Coordinate and collaborate with the state health department, Colorado Access, and other key players/partners Ability to communicate clearly and maintain diplomacy with all collaborating partners Implementing large outreach interventions Conducting literature searches Preparing and submitting manuscripts or quarterly reports Various activities related to grant procedures, including assisting in preparing initial protocols, modifications, amendments and continuing reviews, preparing progress reports, and tracking budgets Managing graduate student workers who may assist on the project Salary commensurate with skills and experience. Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in health-related field, or equivalent work experience and/or education substituted on a year for year basis for the degree. At least 5 years of experience in a research environment Excellent written and oral communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills Excellent computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, and Outlook), and experience conducting Internet searches Ability to work as a team member and work effectively with diverse people Ability to work with minimal supervision and maximum accountability
Required Competencies/Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, Outlook and Access; Versatility and the ability to operate effectively and efficiently according to the needs and demands of concurrent projects
Desired Qualifications: Experience with database management using Microsoft Access and/or Microsoft Customer Relation Management System (CRM) Previous employment in a university environment Past experience submitting protocols to an Institutional Review Board (IRB) Past experience working on federally funded projects Experience with reference management software
