Minimum Qualifications: BA or BS degree or equivalent experience as determined by the Dean or his or her designee.
Required Competencies/Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: -conducting experiments utilizing multi-color flow cytometry -establishing and maintaining mouse and human T cell lines and clones utilizing standard sterile technique -performing lymphocyte assays involving 3H-thymidine incorporation -cytokine measurement by ELISPOT -work with human T cells and islet cells -sample processing and sample shipment -PCR analysis of T cell receptors and cytokines -animal work involving testing, breeding and maintaining experimental transgenic mice
Desired Qualifications: -2 years lab experience in a research setting preferred -previous experience with human cells and the ability to handle multiple research projects is highly desirable
