Posting Description: *Department Information:* The National Center for Women & Information Technology (NCWIT) is a coalition of over 450 corporations, universities and non-profits working towards significantly increasing girls/women's participation in computing. It is highly visible on the national computing landscape, and has raised over $13 million in NSF grants, as well as considerable corporate gifts. *Job Responsibilities:* The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: _75% Program Development, Outreach & Coordination:_ The AspireIT Program Manager works with AiC participants, affiliate partners, community partners, faculty and other supporters to encourage partnerships to design and implement Middle School Outreach Programs for girls in information technology and computing. The Program Manager: * Identifies, develops, and supports long-term collaborations and partnerships among NCWIT Aspirations in Computing participants and other NCWIT Affiliate members (both Academic and K-12) for the coordination of AspireIT funded programs * Creates process for and manages the AspireIT grants program, including RFP, selection process, and granting process * Works with the NCWIT Communications team on publicity campaigns to raise the awareness and recognition of the program * Recruits applicants by contacting Aspirations in Computing participants and Affiliates of NCWIT, and works to form partnerships between them * Works with corporate partners to provide resources to AspireIT Programs and to provide opportunities for involvement for corporate partners * Works with funded sites to implement quality programs in areas of recruitment, program logistics, curriculum support, funding and fundraising, marketing and PR and other issues as arise * Works with funded sites to keep them engaged in a community of programs through social media and information sharing * Site visits to funded programs as appropriate * Works with the Communications department to manage the website and other AspireIT materials are up to date * Collects pertinent data on participants in order to remain in contact with them for future NCWIT opportunities * Maintains an online Program Toolkit of resources for sites to use to improve and support their program * Designs and ships branded Resource Kits for sites to improve their program branding and quality * Maintains all records for funded sites including proposals, contact data, reports, media release forms, etc. _15% Fundraising:_ * Supports in the Procurement of some of the funding for AspireIT, including writing grant proposals and funding requests * Creates stewardship reports for the national sponsors as needed _10% Evaluation:_ * Conducts regular review and evaluation of program * Manages process for creating and collecting survey data from all AspireIT participants * Manages relationship with external evaluators * Works with evaluators to produce reports on programming as needed by constituent groups. *Salary and Benefits:* The salary range for this position is $49,000-$62,000, commensurate with skills and experience. Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of relevant professional experience. Relevant experience includes experience in implementing programs directly with youth, and supporting program managers in the implementation of programs, as well as experience managing regional or national programs.
