Posting Description: The University of Colorado at Denver, Department of Radiology, is seeking a Chief of Abdominal Imaging to lead an 8 person Section at our spectacular 227-acre world class medical campus located on the eastern slope of the Rocky Mountains. All of our clinical, education and research facilities have been built in the last 12 years; our imaging equipment is state of the art. We are recruiting at all academic ranks with position based upon experience and background. Job Responsibilities: The successful recruit will be responsible for the continued development of the clinical and academic missions of the Section. Specifically the Chief will be responsible for maintaining a state of the art clinical practice, building a cohesive academic team, and achieving excellence across all of the academic missions. Body Imaging of all modality types, including MR, CT, US, and GI/GU imaging. Fellow, resident, and medical student education in both outpatient and inpatient settings are critical components of the position and will be centered at the University of Colorado Hospital and the Anschutz Centers for Advanced Medicine (ACAM).
Required Competencies/Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Medical Degree or equivalent, Colorado Medical License, ABR Certification, Abdominal Fellowship training, and a track record in leadership, clinical care, education and research.
