Posting Description: This position will be responsible for direct outpatient medical and surgical management of vitreoretinal disease at The University of Colorado Eye Center and affiliate sites of practice. The position will be responsible for developing a robust retinal practice as well as a commitment to resident teaching and basic or clinical research.
Minimum Qualifications: Qualified candidates will be M.D. trained and have completed an approved residency program in ophthalmology including fellowship training in retina. Must be board certified or eligible and have a Colorado medical license or be eligible. Knowledge and proficiency in medical and surgical management of vitreoretinal disease is required.
Required Competencies/Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge and proficiency in medical and surgical management of vitreoretinal disease. Demonstrated interest in resident teach and basic or clinical applied research.
Desired Qualifications: Expertise, interest, or additional training in hereditary retinal degeneration, uveitis, pediatric retina, or ocular tumors is preferred but not required.
