Posting Description: University of Colorado Denver Assistant Professor / Professor Pediatric Rheumatologist School of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics Section of Pediatric Allergy, Immunology and Rheumatology The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Colorado is recruiting a full-time board-certified Pediatric Rheumatologist at the Assistant Professor level or higher. This position will be located at the University of Colorado Denver, Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora. The new Anschutz Medical Campus includes over 5 million square feet of research, educational and clinical space on 227 acres. This faculty member would be joining a division consisting of three board-certified pediatric rheumatologists as well as a pediatric nurse practitioner, pediatric physician assistant and clinical nurse specialist. Responsibilities include patient care, teaching, and research, with effort in each area to be determined by the applicant's strengths. The Pediatric Rheumatology Program at the University of Colorado's clinical practices is based at Children's Hospital Colorado and National Jewish Health. The program draws patients from over a 500-mile radius providing tertiary and advanced care to these patients. Children's Hospital Colorado and National Jewish Health are routinely ranked in the top 10 hospitals in the US. There are greater than 650 pediatric faculty among the three campuses with rich collaborative opportunities. A major building program is underway to provide additional state-of-the-art clinical space and translational research facilities as well as a Maternal Fetal Medicine Unit.
