Posting Description: Job Duties: *Recruiting, Admissions and Enrollment Management:* This position will develop the admissions and enrollment strategy for both the full-time and Evening MBA programs. This will include interpretation and implementation of admission policies, leading the admissions committee, managing the online systems related to application review and analysis, planning recruiting events, providing admissions-related information to prospective students by telephone, in office appointments, and correspondence, giving formal presentations on the MBA programs and admissions process at selected recruitment, informational and marketing events. These activities may require travel if the recruiting strategy includes events across the United States and abroad. In addition, this position will lead the design and organization of recruiting initiatives, management of budgets, evaluation of outcomes, and long-range planning. This position will manage, train, supervise, and evaluate professional and non-professional staff members including temporary and student staff, participate in staff development activities including appropriate university workshops, conferences and programs, and state and national professional organizations. *Marketing:* This position will collaborate with the Director of MBA Programs and Associate Director for Operations to develop the marketing strategy for both MBA programs, working with vendors, and consultants to create marketing campaigns that support recruitment; create messaging for various programs and initiatives; manage the web presence including website, social media, blogs, advertising, etc; develop marketing collateral including PDF brochures, print pieces and templates for use in programming; conduct market research for new programs; evaluate outcomes of marketing initiatives. *Administration:* This position will manage the budget associated with the marketing, recruiting and admissions functions, provide assistance, as needed, to other student administrative services and university offices and agencies on a regular and occasional basis. Minimum Qualifications: Minimum requirements for the position include a master's degree and at least three years of professional experience in the field of admissions or advising in a higher education setting. Acceptable alternative experience could include work in a professional field, with experience reviewing credentials for and interviewing candidates for positions or for admission to programs.
Required Competencies/Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: The individual must have outstanding organizational and project management skills; outstanding interpersonal, written and oral communication skills and be well-versed in using excel.
Desired Qualifications: Preferred qualifications include an MBA, five years of professional experience in the field of admissions or advising in a higher education setting, specific experience with admissions for graduate business programs, extensive knowledge of the industry and of the University of Colorado Boulder.
