Posting Description: Subject to budgetary approval, the Department of Economics at University of Colorado Denver invites applications for up to two Visiting Assistant Professor positions for the 2012/2013 academic year. The position can be renewed upon mutual satisfaction. Each position requires the individual to teach one semester in our program in Beijing, China (International College in Beijing) and the other semester in our Denver campus. Each individual is expected to allocate 60% to teaching (six courses for the academic year), 10% to research and 30% to service (e.g., student advising). Candidates should have a Ph.D. or expect completion by August 2012. Candidates from all fields of economics will be considered and those with teaching experience and good research records/potentials are highly encouraged to apply.

The International College in Beijing (ICB) is administered by the University of Colorado Denver and confers a University of Colorado degree. All instruction is in English. Tuition and standards are high and the majority of students are economics majors. The school is located on the China Agricultural University campus in northern Beijing.
