Children's Hospital Colorado, Department of Pediatric Infectious Disease has an opening for a full-time Professional Research Assistant in Children's Hospital's Immunodeficiency Program (CHIP). CHIP is a study site for multi-center clinical trials from the International Maternal, Pediatric, Adolescent AIDS Clinical Trials (IMPAACT), the Pediatric AIDS Cohort Study (PHACS) and the Adolescent Trials Network (ATN). CHIP provides comprehensive health care integrated with clinical trial participation to children, adolescents, young adults and pregnant women living with or affected by HIV.

The University of Colorado Denver seeks a PRA-Compliance Coordinator to work in the Department of Pediatric Infectious Diseases at the Children's Hospital Colorado, on the Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora. Job Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the Clinical Research Manger, the primary responsibility of the PRA-Compliance Coordinator is to ensure that the various research compliance activities and programs within CHIP adhere to federal, state and local, regulations as well as institutional policy.

The CHIP Compliance Coordinator will be responsible for regulatory aspects of research. This includes submission of protocols to the Colorado Multiple Institutional Review Board (COMIRB) and the Clinical and Translational Research Center (CTRC) for the CHIP program, including revision of national protocols in accordance with local guidelines and for the ongoing management of this research in order to maintain high program standards.

Required Education/Experience/Skills (Minimum Qualifications): - Bachelor's Degree
- 2 years of research and/or compliance experience
- Experience with IRB submissions

Desired Qualifications: - Familiarity with multi-center trials
- Experience working with Databases
- Knowledge of HIV disease and treatment
- Proficient in using computer software applications such as Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Adobe
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills (oral and written)
- Ability to understand complex organizations
- Ability to work independently, within a strong team environment
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities, often under time pressures
- Attention to detail a must as well as ability to accurately prioritize workflow
