Posting Description: The Office of Victim Assistance is seeking a part-time (32 hours a week) Victim Advocate. The Victim Advocate will work with other members of the Office of Victim Assistance to provide counseling, advocacy, support and information to members of the University community, students and staff, who are impacted by disruptive or disturbing life events. The Office of Victim Assistance responds to situations involving physical assault, hazing, bias motivated incidents, death, discrimination and harassment including sexual harassment, intimate partner violence, serious accidents, sexual assault, stalking, as well as other potentially traumatic situations.

Required Education/Experience/Skills (Minimum Qualifications): - Master's degree in social work, counseling or related field
- License eligible in the State of Colorado
- One year experience providing counseling, advocacy, or crisis intervention
- Experience working on issues related to gender violence
- Experience and strong commitment to working with diverse populations, as well as demonstrated commitment to social justice and anti-oppression work
- Good communication skills

Desired Qualifications: - Clinical licensure in the State of Colorado
