Unit Job Summary: Research Professional: Work within a multidisciplinary team of basic, clinical and population scientists to manage translational research protocols to develop cancer biomarkers associated with patient outcomes and treatment in breast, ovary and endometrial cancers using Fluorescence in Situ Hybridization (FISH) and emerging technologies for high throughput genome analysis. Coordinate work with other scientists in the laboratory and collaborate effectively on joint research projects. Teach junior members of the laboratory the various methodologies as pertinent to our research. Lead and direct other research assistants in procedures and techniques.
Unit Education: Degree in Basic Sciences (e.g., PhD in Genetics, Cancer Biology or related science field) or M.D. required.
Unit Experience: Experience in protocol development, study report preparation, Investigator Brochure preparation, IND safety updates required.
Experience working with electronic data capture systems required.
At least 3 years of experience in translational research development preferred.

Knowledge of protocol design, implementation and proficient at data interpretation required.
Translational project management skills required.
Ability to assimilate technical information quickly required.
