Duties and Responsibilities: This position requires the professor to teach courses in departmental areas (i.e., education assessment, educational research, educational psychology, classroom management), to engage in scholarly/creative activities, to serve on committees at all levels in the University, to participate in program evaluation, to perform University-related professional service, and, to supervise student teachers.
Minimum Qualifications: Doctorate required in Education Assessment, Educational Research, Educational Psychology, or other closely related fields. Minimum 3 years as a professional educator in K-12 schools is required. ABD considered if degree completed by June 1, 2014.

The College of Education and Professional Studies currently has 97 full-time and over 100 part-time faculty organized in seven departments. The college offers 23 undergraduate majors and 27 graduate majors. All teacher education programs are NCATE accredited.
