Position: Assistant Professor, Tenure-track

The newly established Department of European Languages and Studies at the University of California, Irvine, is seeking an Assistant Professor of French, period open. The successful candidate will be able to teach specialized courses in French literature as well as broader courses on French literature in a comparative European context.

Requirements - Native or near-native fluency in French required; Ph.D. in hand by September, 2012.
