Position Title: Assistant Professor
Position Summary:
The position involves a 3/2 semester teaching load in an undergraduate department plus the usual non-teaching commitments. Duties will include teaching in and helping to revise and expand our Pre-Law Track (www.as.ua.edu/philosophy/home/student/pre-law-track/). The Department has a strong preference for someone who can also contribute to our Mind-Brain Track (www.as.ua.edu/philosophy/wp-content/uploads/2010/11/MindBrainBrochure.pdf).
Minimum and Preferred Qualifications:
UNIVERSITY OF ALABAMA, Tuscaloosa, AL. The Department of Philosophy invites applications for a tenure track position at the rank of Asst.Prof, beginning fall 2012. 3/2 semester teaching load, undergraduate. Usual non-teaching duties. AOS: philosophy of law or related area. AOC: same. Duties will include teaching in and helping to revise and expand our Pre-Law Track (www.as.ua.edu/philosophy/home/student/pre-law-track/).
