Position Title: Assistant Professor

Position Summary:

• Teach graduate and undergraduate technology courses in a
  variety of formats, including online and on weekends
• Advise masters, specialist and doctoral students
• Serve on comprehensive exam and dissertation committees
  as appropriate
• Chair doctoral committees (when qualified)
• Develop and maintain an active research agenda
• Seek external funds
• Engage in curriculum revision and update
• Collaborate with colleagues within the department and
  college
• Provide professional service to the university community
  and external constituents

Position: Assistant Professor in Instructional Technology (Tenure-Track)

The Instructional Technology Program in the Department of Educational Leadership, Policy and Technology Studies offers undergraduate courses and graduate degrees in instructional technology (IT) and computers and applied technology (CAT).

Qualifications:

• Earned doctorate in the field of instructional technology or
  closely related field
• Evidence of scholarly potential
• Expertise or interest in the development and research of
  technology tools to support instructional and administrative
  functions in schools and organizations
• Ability to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in
  instructional technology and computers and applied
  technology

Responsibilities:

• Teach graduate and undergraduate technology courses in

Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience
