Position Summary: Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in International Relations. Pursue an active research agenda leading to publication of peer-reviewed articles and books in appropriate venues. Provide service to the University community and professional organizations.
Minimum Preferred Qualifications: The Department of Political Science invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level in International Relations beginning August 16, 2014. The successful candidate should have a strong research agenda that applies rigorous methods to important theoretical questions. While the research and teaching interests are open, they should complement rather than exactly duplicate the expertise of the department's current international relations faculty. The University of Alabama is the flagship campus of the University of Alabama system, and offers the B.A., M.A., and Ph.D. degrees in Political Science.
