Dean of LRC and College Librarian

Directs all aspects of the campus Learning Resources Centers to provide a variety of instructional resources for faculty, staff and students.

Master's Degree in Library Science, Library and Information Science or Information Science.

Five to seven years experience in directing library systems with demonstrated increasing responsibility. Community college experience in a multi-campus environment preferred.

Thorough knowledge of Copyright and intellectual property procedures.

Demonstrated knowledge of library computing and in-depth experience with leading edge electronic library resources.

Must have a progressive attitude in library activities.

Background must include training or knowledge of records management and an understanding of licensing and contracts.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact effectively with others.
