Assistant Dean, Health Sciences

This position will assist the Dean of Health Sciences in refining and implementing the strategic plans for the Nursing and Allied Health Services divisions. In this capacity, the individual will work closely with the Dean, Associate Deans and Faculty members of the Nursing and Allied Health Services Divisions.

Master's Degree required (Doctorate preferred) in a health sciences' discipline related to the health sciences' divisions.

Three to five years experience in a position of leadership within a higher education environment.

Excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain highly effective working relationships throughout all levels of the College and within the community.

Proven excellence in project management in higher education required.

Previous teaching and/or administrative experience as well as working knowledge of the disciplines and programs related to the Division preferred.

Demonstrated experience with developing and implementing interprofessional education (IPE) trainings/courses preferred.
