We are looking for an Associate Registrar for our Registrars Office. We desire an individual who is dynamic, creative, and friendly. We are seeking an individual who is always willing to offer their talents and skills towards making a significant impact in the lives of our students.

The Associate Registrar plans, directs, coordinates and supervises units within the Office of the Registrar. He/she will establish, update and review policies and procedures in order to assure compliance with the university policies, state, and federal legislation.

Associate Registrar’s primary areas of responsibility will include: degree audit, student information system security, leadership for customer service initiatives, staff development, and training. Establishes standard procedures and priorities for data resources; directs the activities of administrative and clerical support staff; ensures the integrity and security of student records; works collaboratively with academic administration and non-academic units within the University.

Accuracy, attention to detail, communication, leadership, and multi-tasking skills are essential to the successful candidate. Ability to maintain confidentiality and commitment to a student-centered, team environment is a must.

Essential Functions:
• Responsible for articulation activities, course equivalencies, degree audit and degree conferral
• Understand, communicate and enforce academic policies and procedures
• Conduct business process analysis, establish a functional and technical vision for projects, and direct the management of those projects
• Evaluate the effectiveness of specific functional operations, recommend organizational changes, and provide documentation to the Registrar for such changes
• Ensure the integrity and security of student academic records
• Act as liaison for the Office of the Registrar with various departments, committees, and task forces
• Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Three to five years experience working in Registrar’s office.
• Thorough knowledge of FERPA.
• Knowledge of academic policies and procedures in academic record keeping, supervision, management, and student information systems.
