RECRUITER/SOURCER, MANAGEMENT/EXEMPT LEVEL POSITIONS

Reporting to the Senior Business Partner, the Recruiter/Sourcer works in a highly collaborative manner with hiring managers and Human Resources to develop and execute customized sourcing and recruiting strategies and generate a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future technical, administrative support or management/exempt job opportunities. Key responsibilities of this position include utilizing contemporary recruiting and sourcing tools such as job boards, social media, resume databases and search engines to identify potential candidates, conducting initial phone screens, and maintaining the highest level of customer service for candidates and hiring managers throughout the entire process by providing frequent status updates and responding to needs and requests in a timely and efficient manner
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree OR High School diploma and five (5) years of related work experience
- Three plus (3+) years of specialty recruiting and sourcing experience from a staffing agency, search firm or in-house corporate recruiting team.
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Experience using enterprise-level applicant tracking systems.
- Experience using contemporary recruiting and sourcing tools such as job boards, social media, resume databases and search engines to identify active and passive candidates.
- Broad knowledge of information technology including software development, databases, operating systems, hardware, networking, security, quality assurance, support, business analysis, project management and architecture.
- Demonstrated ability to source and qualify candidates for a wide variety of technical positions.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Experience working in a consensus-based team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to establish collaborative working relationships with hiring managers, Human Resources and other stakeholders.
- Strong customer service and consultative skills throughout the entire hiring process.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to details.
- Ability to provide coverage to several open positions, prioritize tasks and manage multiple competing deadlines.
- Ability to develop a comprehensive knowledge of Tufts University policies and procedures and benefits program.
- Ability to anticipate issues and identify possible solutions.
- A working knowledge of compensation programs and practices including a familiarity with survey data.
- A proven track record of successful negotiations.
- Ability to travel between Boston, Grafton and Medford campuses.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in higher education.
- Ability to perform advanced Boolean searches.
- Ability to perform research on the labor market, candidate pool and information technology industry standards.
- Experience with diversity recruiting and outreach initiatives.
Special Work Schedule Requirements: This position may be required to attend meetings before or after normal business hours.
