Video Production Specialist

The Division of Innovation and Applied Research’s Center for Professional Studies (CPS) seeks a skilled and talented Video Production Specialist to conceptualize, produce, and distribute video and multimedia projects. Through planning, coordination and teamwork, the Video Production Specialist works with Center for Professional Studies and Office of External Affairs teams to provide professional video production and support that meets the needs of partners, clients, and the division.
Responsibilities: Manage all aspects of video production, including pre-production, location scouting, camera work, lighting, audio set ups, online and offline editing, graphic implementation, finalizing, uploading, and backing up; participate in proposal writing and business development activities aimed at increasing video production projects; identify opportunities to utilize video to promote continuing education programs, applied research and technical services, external events, entrepreneurship, and other activities within the Division of Innovation and Applied Research; and maintain the division and office YouTube and Vimeo presences.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree and six months of related experience required. The selected candidate must have demonstrated technical expertise in video, including lighting, sound, editing, media encoding, and experience with Adobe Creative Suite and/or Final Cut post production software. A Criminal Background Investigation is required for the hired candidate and the results may impact employment.
Salary: Competitive salary and an annually renewable contract with subsidized benefits. The position is contingent on funds being available at time of hire.
