TAMUCC invites applications for the following position, Assistant Professor, Special Education.
Earned Doctorate in Special Education from an accredited institution with an emphasis in mild to moderate/high incidence disabilities. The successful candidate will have a minimum of five years K-12 teaching experience.
Experience in culturally and linguistically diverse settings and ability to teach Educational Diagnostician coursework preferred.
Responsibilities to include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses leading to Special Education and Educational Diagnostician certifications. The candidate will be expected to advise undergraduate and graduate students, engage in scholarly activity, and provide service to the department, college, university, and profession.
