Temple University’s School of Social Work (SSW) in the College of Health Professions and Social Work is searching for a tenure track faculty member, at associate or full rank, for the 2014-2015 academic year in the area of AGING, specifically as regard social inclusion, human rights, civic engagement, intergenerational programming, protective services and financial exploitation. The new faculty member will contribute to the academic programming of a new integrated research center in Aging. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellence in both research and teaching, as evidenced by success in a funded and published research record and a record of excellence in teaching across multiple subjects and levels of higher education. The position could be located on Main campus in Philadelphia or in the TU Harrisburg campus.
Completed Doctoral level education in social work or a closely related field is expected. Applicants without doctoral level training might be considered with priority consideration for those who have a viable plan to complete doctoral degrees within six months or less.
