Reporting to and in close collaboration with the Director, the Senior Manager, Technical Support and Non-Credit Operations is responsible for managing the development and implementation of Banner CE/Flexible registration and for post-implementation maintenance. Working closely with technical staff, the Sr. Manager Technical Support and Non-Credit Operations provides direction, leadership, support and oversight for the design and maintenance of CE processes, rules, tables and interfaces. In addition, the Sr. Manager, Technical Support and Non-Credit Operations independently develops training and documentation materials, provides training and support to end-users, students and internal clients as necessary and oversees security access for Banner CE.

The Sr. Manager, Technical Support and Non-Credit Operations is broadly responsible for the integrity of data and compliance with various internal and external data reporting standards. He/she identifies needs, develops solutions, policies and procedures consistent with University policies, coordinates broad activities across departments/subunits by acting as CE contact and liaison to school/college continuing education units as well as central administrative and financial units and is responsible for establishing department goals and defining projects. He/she also solicits "best practices" from other Banner competency groups and assesses applicability to current and potential problem areas and opportunities for improvement, regularly participates in hiring, supervising and developing CE and Banner related staff throughout the organization. The Senior Manager will also perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements
Required Skills and Background:
· Leads the management, development and implementation of Banner for non-credit programs by collaborating in the design, testing, implementation and post-implementation maintenance of Banner CE/ Flexible Registration application and interfaces.
· Demonstrated ability to provide oversight for the implementation, management and maintenance of CE processes, including but not limited to: course inventory/catalog; scheduling; rules for registration processing, billing and refunds; degree audit requirements; grading; academic history and transcripts; and maintenance of various tables, rules and interfaces.
· Oversees security access for Banner CE.
· Demonstrated ability to develop training and documentation, and conduct training.
· Demonstrated ability to identify needs of internal clients (schools/colleges) and ensure appropriate solutions to meet their needs.
· Serves as operational liaison for non-credit functions in the following areas, but not limited to: Banner Competency Center; Office of Academic Records; Bursar's Office; Human Resources, CIS. Serve as liaison between schools/colleges/administrative units and central Computer Services on technology matters.
· Provides oversight for integrity of CE data to meet requirements for required federal, state, professional licensure and other reporting as well as internal operational and financial needs.
· Provides effective technology support to end users and students. Ensures investigation of student and staff complaints and facilitates resolutions.
· Develops and maintains CE Banner policies that are consistent with University and departmental policies.
· Manages projects and determines priorities for Banner Student Competency Center

Required Education and Experience
· Bachelor's degree and at least four years related experience. Masters degree preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of non-credit programs and student information systems in a higher education setting, preferably Banner. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
· Demonstrated ability to think in a seminal fashion, with exceptional problem-solving abilities needed to ensure CE/ Banner development.
· Uses Mastery level in area(s) of expertise to provide leadership for department.
· Offers visionary insight into future technologies that can address critical operational needs
