Reporting to the Director of Data Management, the HR Data Admin Specialist is responsible for completing detailed complex administrative tasks such as: maintaining databases to assist with the daily Human Resources operations; managing audit reports to monitor the database activity (Glacier, VIAM, Banner, and other hr related databases); resolve audit errors; and monitor incoming requests and ensure they are processed in a timely, efficient manner. Responsible for the distribution, auditing and verification of all data entry functions associated with the Banner HR system. Review source documents for accuracy, prepare reports, prioritize and monitor work flow. Assist in training users, handling queries and resolving problems. Ensure the integrity of data input and enforce all applicable Human Resources deadlines. Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree and at least one (1) year of related experience in a Human Resources department. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Required Skills and Abilities:
* Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office products including advanced proficiency in working with Microsoft Excel and Access.
* Ability to distribute, audit and verify all data entry functions.
* Demonstrated experience maintaining databases, monitoring database activity and resolving audit errors.
* Experience with handling queries, problem resolution and ensuring the integrity of data input.
* Demonstrated experience with review of source documents, preparing reports and monitoring work flow.
* Strong customer service skills along with the ability to effectively interact with a diverse group of staff, faculty and students.
* Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and pay attention to details.
* Strong verbal, written, and analytical skills along with the ability to work independently.
* Demonstrated experience in a high volume, fast paced environment.

Preferred:
Experience working with employee data management, data analysis, and human resources related databases.
