Position Summary: Sinclair Community College is a comprehensive community college with an enrollment of over 25,000 students that offers career and transfer programs leading to an associate degree, certificate programs, and continuing education opportunities. The Division of Liberal Arts, Communication and Social Sciences at Sinclair Community College is currently seeking candidates for an annually contracted faculty opening in the Developmental Language Arts Department effective August 16, 2013. Resume review will begin on 7/26/13.
Principle Accountabilities: *Teach at least 30 credit hours per academic year *Cooperate with full-time faculty, the department chairperson, and the division dean in implementing the instructional program.
Requirements: **A master's degree in English, Reading or a related field *Evidence of successful prior teaching experience in basic skills education at the college level, and ability to teach classroom and online courses *In addition, applicants must show an interest in alternative instructional delivery (including online delivery), and an understanding of and sensitivity to a diverse student population.
