ALBANY/TROY/NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK
The Doctoral Program in Educational Leadership in the Esteves School of Education at The Sage Colleges invites applications for full-time faculty positions effective Fall 2014. The Doctoral Program in Educational Leadership is delivered at two locations. There is a site on the Sage Albany Campus and a site in New York City.
The successful candidates will possess an earned Doctorate in Education from an accredited institution and certification as a school district leader. The positions require experience as a school superintendent or in another system-wide leadership position associated with education along with a record of successful leadership that establishes a regional and statewide reputation to attract students to the program. The position includes teaching, dissertation supervision, and student recruitment and advisement in an exciting program designed to develop the next generation of system leaders. The doctoral program requires students to work both individually and collaboratively; the successful candidates for the faculty positions must also be able to do both with ease. The successful candidates must support the conceptual framework of the Esteves School of Education and exhibit values consistent with the philosophy contained therein. Teaching, scholarship and service are all required from the full time faculty at Sage. Visit the Doctor of Education website for a thorough exploration of our program, faculty, and institution.
