The Educational Opportunity Fund (EOF) Program is a state-supported student success program that provides New Jersey residents holistic support and student success including comprehensive academic, personal, and financial support services and financial assistance. Under the supervision of the Associate Chancellor for Academic Services, the Director leads the Educational Opportunity Fund Program on the Rutgers-Camden campus and advocates for Rutgers-Camden EOF students within the Rutgers system and at the state level. The EOF director provides day-to-day oversight of the EOF Program including staff supervision, budget and program development and management, delivery of student services, and regular state reporting. In order to ensure success and graduation of EOF students, the Director develops, implements, and assesses student services and programs. Building and maintaining strong and collaborative relationships and communication with a variety of campus constituencies is essential to the success of the EOF Director, the EOF Program, and EOF students. The EOF Director is responsible for providing leadership and vision for the EOF Program and for taking a lead role in advocating on behalf of at-risk students to a variety of constituents on- and off-campus.

Master's degree (higher education, college student personnel, counseling, psychology, social work or related area strongly preferred) required; doctoral degree preferred. The EOF Director should have significant (5-7 years) experience advising, counseling, teaching, or otherwise providing holistic student development support in a collegiate environment. Significant experience in staff supervision/professional development and budget management required. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills required. Demonstrated ability to lead teams and work collaboratively with a broad range of constituents. Experience making data-driven decisions to support student success. In order to provide holistic student success support to first-generation, low-income and otherwise at-risk undergraduate students, the EOF Director must demonstrate experience in and awareness of best practices in student success, advising, academic support, and retention. The EOF Director is required to advocate on behalf of EOF students and for at-risk student needs at the campus, system, and state-level and as such must have demonstrated expereince in student advocacy. Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite programs.
