The Department of Sociology at the University of North Georgia invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor of Sociology.
Duties include teaching undergraduate courses in sociology, scholarship, and service to the department, the university, and the community.
Demonstrated commitment to undergraduate teaching and research and an on-going research agenda; teaching and research specializations in political sociology, social issues of globalization, environmental sociology, or qualitative and quantitative research methods; and expertise in one or more of the following areas: social change, sociology of religion, classical and contemporary theory.
Requires a Ph.D. in Sociology
