Kenyon College seeks a Visiting Professor in Political Science with an emphasis in International Relations.
The Department of Political Science at Kenyon College invites applications for a one-year visiting position in International Relations, with the appointment to begin in July 2013. Qualified applicants will have a strong teaching and research background in international politics. We are especially interested in candidates with expertise in human rights, conflict resolution, or global environmental politics. A capacity to teach courses in comparative politics, and our introductory course, The Quest for Justice, is also desirable. Strong preference will go to candidates with a demonstrable record of excellence in teaching and research, fieldwork experience, and substantive historical knowledge. Candidates must have a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching and active research interests.
A Ph.D is preferred; however, applicants who are ABD will be considered.
