Faculty members are also expected to have flexible schedules to adjust to the needs of the student population, and to be open to exploring alternative teaching modalities.
Position Description:
Full-time, tenure-line position on the Jamestown campus with coordinator duties for music at all sites. Ability to teach a full range of courses in music including music survey, music theory, aural skills, and performing ensembles. Ability to use technology to enhance course offerings; demonstrated leadership ability. Position will begin August 2013.
Qualifications:
Required: Master’s degree in music. Record of personal performance in voice or an instrument. Demonstration of leadership and organizational skills to oversee music programs.
Preferred: Teaching experience; community college experience; experience in teaching online and/or via multi-site modalities.
